Arnold Oronsky, PhD ::: InterWest Partners

Dr. Arnold L. Oronsky has been with InterWest Partners since 1994. As a Ph.D. in immunology and senior lecturer at the
department of medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical School, Dr. Oronsky brings a deep understanding of oncology, infectious
diseases, cardiovascular, central nervous system, metabolic diseases and vaccines to finding and investing in successful life
science companies.
Currently, Dr. Oronsky serves as a member of the board of directors for the following publicly held life science companies:
Anesiva, Inc., Aspreva Pharmaceuticals, Dynavax Technologies and Metabasis Therapeutics. In addition, Dr. Oronsky serves
on the board of directors for several privately held companies, including AkaRx, Inc., Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation
(AGTC), Diatos S.A., Kanisa Pharmaceuticals, and MacroGenics, Inc.
Prior to joining InterWest, Dr. Oronsky was the vice president for discovery research for the Lederle Laboratories division
of American Cyanamid Company where he directed the research for new drugs.
Dr. Oronsky holds a Ph.D. in immunology from Columbia University and has published more than 125 articles in scientific journals.
Julie Eskay-Eagle ::: Wellcome Trust

Ms. Eskay-Eagle is the Co-Head of Health Care and Venture Capital Investments for The Wellcome Trust, which manages over
$20 billion in assets. Her responsibilities include managing direct investments in over 20 investments in the life sciences
sector as well as relationships with leading health care venture funds and investments totaling over $300 million in health
care-specific public equity funds. Prior to joining the Trust Ms. Eskay-Eagle was a Vice President with Lazard Freres in
Health Care Investment Banking and a founding member of Lazard Technology Partners. Before joining Lazard, she was a
Health Care Specialist with McKinsey & Co. in New York. Ms. Eskay-Eagle has a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Ethics
from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia University. Ms. Eskay-Eagle is currently a director of Cell Biosciences,
Sequoia Pharmaceuticals and Amplimmune.
James Campbell, MD ::: Johns Hopkins University

James Campbell, M.D., seeks new opportunities to invest in innovative technologies in the areas of therapeutics and devices, and he
works with entrepreneurs at the early stages of company formation. Dr. Campbell sits on the boards of Anesiva (NASDAQ: ANSV, an
IW portfolio company), Detroit Trading Company, Arcion Therapeutics, and Amplimmune (an IW portfolio company). He is also the
Founder and Chairman of the Board of the non-profit organization, the American Pain Foundation.
Dr. Campbell has a long record of accomplishment in academic medicine and neuroscience research. He serves as Professor of
Neurosurgery and Director of the Blaustein Pain Treatment Center in the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, and
in the past served as Director of the Residency Training Program for the Department of Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins. He has
served as the chief editor of several books, published well over 100 peer-reviewed research papers, and serves on the editorial
board of several academic journals. Dr. Campbell has received many national awards for research and public service including
the Jacob Javits Neuroscience Investigator Award from the National Institutes of Health, and the Grass Award from the Society
of Neurological Surgery. He also has received the Kerr Award for Research from the American Pain Society. He has served as
consultant/advisory boards for several biopharmaceutical companies and holds many patents in the life sciences.
Dr. Campbell received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan with High Honors and High Distinction, and his M.D.
degree from Yale University. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University, and also pursued
post-doctoral training in Neurophysiology in the Department of Physiology at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Campbell is a Diplomate of
the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
David Kabakoff, PhD ::: Strategy Advisors

Dr. Kabakoff is the current President and CEO of Strategy Advisors which he established in 2001 to provide business and strategic
advisory services to life sciences companies. Prior to its acquisition by Cephalon, Inc. in June 2005, Dr. Kabakoff served as Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer of Salmedix, Inc., a company he co-founded in 2001 to develop novel oncology drugs. From 1996 to September
2000, Dr. Kabakoff held executive management positions with Dura Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company, acquired by
Elan Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Dura, Dr. Kabakoff was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Corvas International, a biopharmaceutical
firm focused on cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases, and held senior management positions with Hybritech, Inc., a pioneer in the field
of monoclonal antibodies, which was acquired by Eli Lilly & Co. in 1986. Dr. Kabakoff received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yale University
and his B.A. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kabakoff serves on the Boards of Intermune, Inc., Avalon Pharmaceuticals,
Trius Therapeutics and Allylix, Inc. He also serves as an Executive in Residence with Sofinnova Ventures.
Drew Pardoll, MD, PhD ::: Johns Hopkins University (Non-Voting Observer)

Dr. Pardoll is Seraph Professor of Oncology, Medicine, Pathology and Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine.
He is Co-Director of the Cancer Immunology Program in the Sydney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Pardoll completed his M.D., Ph.D.,
Medical Residency and Oncology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Pardoll has published over 200 papers as well as over 20 book chapters
on the subject of T cell immunology and cancer vaccines.
He has served on the editorial board of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute and Cancer Cell, and has served as a member of scientific
advisory boards for the Cancer Research Institute, the University of Pennsylvania Human Gene Therapy Gene Institute, Biologic Resources
Branch of the National Cancer Institute, Harvard-Dana Farber Cancer Center, Cerus Corporation, Global Medical Products Corporation,
Genencor Corporation, CellGenesys Corporation, Mojave Therapeutics, the American Association of Clinical Oncology and the American
Association of Cancer Research. Dr. Pardoll has made a number of basic advances in Cellular Immunology, including the discovery
of gamma - delta T cells, NKT cells and interferon-producing killer dendritic cells. Over the past two decades, Dr. Pardoll has studied
molecular aspects of dendritic cell biology and immune regulation, particularly related to mechanisms by which cancer cells evade
elimination by the immune system. He is an inventor of a number of immunotherapies, including GVAX cancer vaccines and Listeria
monocytogenes based cancer vaccines.
Michael Richman ::: Amplimmune

Mr. Richman has over 24 years of experience working in research, intellectual property and business development capacities in companies
such as Chiron Corporation (now Novartis) and MedImmune, Inc. (now Astra Zeneca), where he was Senior Vice President Corporate
Development prior to taking on his most recent position at MacroGenics. While at MedImmune, Mr. Richman was responsible for all Business
Development, Licensing, Intellectual Property, Legal Affairs, Project Management and Strategic Planning functions, and drove over $1.6 billion
in transactions. His transactional and M&A experience, management skills and familiarity with the scientific and intellectual aspects of
biotechnology product development are invaluable in building young companies. Most recently, Mr. Richman was Executive Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer at MacroGenics - a fully integrated R&D company focused on monoclonal antibodies for cancer, autoimmune diseases, and
infectious diseases. Mr. Richman obtained his B.S. in Genetics/Molecular Biology at the University of California at Davis and his M.S.B.A. in
International Business at San Francisco State University.
