Michael Richman, President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Richman has over 24 years of experience working in research, intellectual property and business development capacities in companies such as Chiron Corporation (now Novartis)
and MedImmune, Inc. (now Astra Zeneca), where he was Senior Vice President Corporate Development prior to taking on his most recent position at MacroGenics.
While at MedImmune, Mr. Richman was responsible for all Business Development, Licensing, Intellectual Property, Legal Affairs, Project Management and Strategic Planning functions,
and drove over $1.6 billion in transactions. His transactional and M&A experience, management skills and familiarity with the scientific and intellectual aspects of biotechnology product
development are invaluable in building young companies. Most recently, Mr. Richman was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at MacroGenics - a fully integrated R&D company focused
on monoclonal antibodies for cancer, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases. Mr. Richman obtained his B.S. in Genetics/Molecular Biology at the University of California at Davis and his M.S.B.A.
in International Business at San Francisco State University.
Sol Langermann, PhD, VP, Research & Development

Dr. Langermann brings a broad range of experience in immunology and molecular genetics to his position as Vice President of Research and Development at Amplimmune.
Prior to joining Amplimmune Dr. Langermann spent 12 years at MedImmune, Inc. where he held a number of positions including Senior Director of the Department of Cell
Biology, Director of the Department of Immunology and Molecular Genetics and Research Scientist in the Department of Immunology. Subsequently he joined PharmAthene, Inc.
a bio and chemical defense company where he headed up the Research and Development efforts and served as CSO at both their Annapolis, MD and Montreal, Canada sites. During
his tenure at PharmAthene, the company was awarded a $213 Million Department of Defense contract for advanced development of Protexia® a countermeasure for chemical
warfare agents. Dr. Langermann is an adjunct Professor for the Department of Medical and Research Technology at The University of Maryland School of Medicine. He received
his PhD from Tufts University and completed his postdoctoral fellowship as well as a Masters degree at Harvard University.
Gary Fanger, Ph.D., Chief Business Officer

Dr. Fanger has over 10 years of experience in the biotechnology industry developing novel therapeutics and establishing drug development alliances. Prior to joining Amplimmune, Dr. Fanger
was Vice President of Business Development at MacroGenics where he directed partnering activities which included establishing MacroGenics' strategic alliance with Eli Lilly & Company.
Before MacroGenics, Dr. Fanger was responsible for a diverse array of corporate functions at Corixa Corporation including heading up business development activities, establishing and
directing the therapeutic antibody development program, and managing numerous partnerships. Dr. Fanger has published over 45 articles, book chapters and reviews in high impact,
peer-reviewed journals in the areas of monoclonal antibody development, cell biology and cancer research. He has also been awarded 28 patents. Dr. Fanger received his M.B.A. from
Seattle University, Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Dartmouth Medical School and his B.S. in Chemistry from Denison University.

James B. Bingham, Ph.D., Senior Director, Development

Dr. Bingham has a broad range of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry including: the fields of process development; process validation; formulation & stability; protein conjugation;
fill/finish; analytical method development, qualification, and validation; drug delivery technology; and quality control. He also brings his experience as Associate Director of Microbial R & D
with Lonza in, financial management, organizational & resource management, corporate integration, customer relations, and technical support of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Lonza,
Dr. Bingham managed process development, formulation, analytical, drug delivery, and in-process technologies groups with Human Genome Sciences in Rockville, MD. Prior to his tenure at
HGS, Jim was also employed at MedImmune in Gaithersburg MD and Integrated Genetics in Framingham MA (now part of Genzyme Corporation). Dr. Bingham received his Ph.D. in Biological
Chemistry (protein chemistry) from The Johns Hopkins University and completed a concurrent fellowship at The Marine Biological Labs, Woods Hole, MA.
Linda Liu, PhD, Director, Scientific Affairs

Dr. Liu has extensive experience in the development of novel biological therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Biological Product
Development at MaxCyte, where she was responsible for development, in vitro and in vivo characterization and manufacture of various autologous cell based therapeutics for cancer
immunotherapy and tissue regeneration. Prior to that, Dr. Liu held several positions at Osiris Therapeutics including as a leading senior scientist in the development of genetically
engineered mesenchymal stem cells for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
Dr. Liu earned her B.S. in Virology and Molecular Biology from Wuhan University (China), and a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from the University of Texas at Austin. She conducted her
postdoctoral research in tumor cell biology at The St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
